Who is Family School for?Family School is for everyone: Families Churches Kingdom Businesses Family School is for all families who are committed to putting in the work necessary to change the culture in their home, and to live by God’s design. What do we mean by ALL families? Blended families Families with children of all ages Single parent families Empty-nesters Grandparents who are raising their grandchildren Adult children with aging parents close by or long distance Families with members who are not walking with Jesus Foster families Married men and women who don’t (yet) have children Single adults with siblings, parents and/or extended family Families that don’t live near one another Family School is also for Pastors/Church Leaders who are responsible for discipling families; who desire to be the “go-to” Family Hospital, Family University or Family Coaching Center for their community. And third, Family School is for Kingdom business leaders who care about the families of their employees and recognize that a healthy family results in a healthy, focused, and productive employee and a healthy culture in the workplace.

What makes Family School different and unique? There are four key elements that set us apart from other organizations helping families: All of our teaching and tools are Biblically based. God created the master plan for families giving us a simple blueprint any family can follow to live according to His design. We employ principles of emotional intelligence as a pillar for healthy families. Emotional intelligence is essential for the success of any relationship. This is a ‘how to’ self govern and walk by the Spirit through understanding self and others. We teach families about the importance of adopting the coach approach to family in their conversations, helping family members support one another in their own growth and discipleship. Coaching is one of the most empowering modalities in creating growth and success there is. Our work is transferable to future generations. Our training is experiential and will equip you and your children to pass it on to their children. Because this work benefits the entire family, future generations reap the benefits. Transforming your family and teaching your children to do the same is God’s design.

Can children attend Family School? While we’d love to say “Yes! All children are welcome to attend Family School!”, we recognize that the length and format does not lend itself to an environment suitable for most younger children. Based on level of maturity and the ability to sit without becoming a distraction, we do encourage children 12 and older to attend the in-person weekly gatherings at your church. Younger children will participate at home through the family heartwork each week. We leave it up to each individual family to determine if their children are able to join them in class, and contribute meaningfully in the small group setting. For children younger than 12, check with your church to see if they offer childcare or if they have babysitting resources available.

What does God say about family?God is a family (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) and He created us in the context of family. The primary revelation of God to humanity is through family. God originated, thought up, created, and conceived the family. It’s God who gave purpose to the family. He designed family to flow outof Him, and family, by design, is just like Him. Family is eternal (before, during, and after time), and is His primary command to mankind to “be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth and govern it” (Gen 1:28). “For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named.” (Eph 3:14-15).

What is The Family Reformation Project? The Family Reformation Project is a global movement to restore families back to God’s original design. Using biblical truth, principles of emotional intelligence, experiential learning and a coach approach to communication, families can build a thriving culture where love, fun, trust, safety and purpose abound. The Family Reformation Project (FRP) equips families through the Family School, connects families through the Tribe, and transforms families by raising up family coaches.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Whether the families you serve are hanging on by a thread or is just looking to enhance connection and communication, Family School is for them. There is much to be gleaned, and as families ebb and flow through life’s various seasons, fresh revelation can happen, breathing new life into the tools they've been equipped with leading to greater levels of healing, transformation and unity as a family.
Below is a breakdown of what you can expect from the group gatherings and at home with families.

Small Group
Each lesson, for 14 lessons following the launch, you’ll start off in your small group. You’ll gather with the same families lesson after lesson, so by the time you’ve completed Family School, you will have also built some amazing friendships. The goal of these small groups is to encourage one another along your journeys, and to also walk through the weekly heartwork from the previous lesson discussing challenges, breakthroughs, questions, and what you’re learning.

Large Group
After the small group portion is complete, all Family School participants will gather together in one large group to hear testimonies and learn another tool. Participants will also have the opportunity to walk through a short exercise practicing the new tool presented helping to reinforce the learning in real time.

Heartwork
Between lessons, your family will have the opportunity to practice their learning together. You will want to carve out 60 minutes between lessons to commit to doing the heartwork. Some tools are more involved than others and can easily take up more time than one hour, but families are busy; we know that! What’s more important than completing every single tool perfectly is practicing the learning with your family, and building new habits and rhythms with the new tools you’ve been equipped with. The goal of your heartwork is to weave the learning (the way of BEing) into your family’s fabric to begin experiencing real transformation and healing.

Small Group Tribe
In a world where families are struggling to stay connected, the local church Small Group Tribe offers a lifeline—bringing together families, church leaders, and influencers who are committed to restoring God’s design for the family. Whether you’re facing challenges in your marriage, your parenting, or your role as a leader in your community, Tribe provides ongoing tools, support, and accountability you need to build a thriving family. This isn’t just a program; it’s a community of like-minded individuals who walk alongside you in your journey to healing, growth, and transformation. Here, you'll find practical steps, biblical wisdom, and the encouragement you need to rebuild your family—one step at a time.

Churches and Church Leaders
Pastors Pete & Lisa Dress
Metro Detroit Christian Church
Detroit, MI
"After experiencing The Family School with Randy and Lesli, our family culture changed. We are now aware of the kingdom legacy our family is called to steward. There is more intentionality in our relationships, and our family bond has increased. Our three adult sons and daughter-in-law have a model for a Kingdom family that will pass on for generations! After our personal family transformation, we invited Randy and Lesli to take all the families of our church through Family School. The fruit has been amazing and ongoing!”
Pastor Mitch Ivey
Grace Fellowship Church
Kearney, NE
“As a pastor, we’re always looking for ways to strengthen and encourage families. When I saw Randy’s book [Family Legacy: Shaping Culture from the Inside Out] and read about the six protocols, I realized I wasn’t giving my church the tools to learn how to communicate or how to walk through a crisis effectively or the tools on how to love and forgive like families should. And as I read the book, I realized it was my heart on paper. We are glad we said yes [to Family School]. There were several families who participated that I thought would never participate. Most importantly and as a father, I want to impart the gift of God into my family and now I have some real tools to do that. As a pastor, I can’t encourage you enough to say yes.”
Pastors Mike & Dr. Ernestine
Spirit Wind Healing Ministries
Pheonix, AZ
“If you’re a pastor, we want to encourage you to host Family School. Give your congregation the tools to equip them with healthy communication and a way to take their family from a dysfunctional way of living into a healthy way of loving on each other just as God intended.”
Families
Lydia Vasquez
“I am really amazed with the impact the FRP has had on my own and extended family. I have seen growth in intentional communication and my family members have opened up emotionally. Setting goals and a vision for my own family has provided an intentional purpose for our household that's priceless.”
Lindsay Fleming
“The Family Legacy reformation protocols gloriously, authentically and tenderly shine light on the brokenness of family. In the same stroke, through partnership with the Spirit, the protocols holistically nurture the heartbeat of family identity, purpose and flourishing.”
Bryan & Megan Bloom
“We had great hopes when we started Family School. We have a fairly functional family but still needed to figure out how to be growing and addressing the issues that we do have. Family School opened our eyes on being more intentional and gave us tools to help our family. We hope to help other families, too!”
